Liturgical advisor – volunteer or occasional self-employed contractor
Following the retirement of our founder trustee, Revd Canon Jeremy Davies (formerly Precentor at Salisbury Cathedral) we are currently seeking a suitably-qualified theologian or member of the clergy to support the charity with their specialist knowledge. This person may be an employee of a school, church, cathedral or university college which would like to be associated with the innovative and inclusive work of the charity or may be a retired individual such as a member of the clergy or a retired RE teacher who would like to share their knowledge occasionally for the benefit of younger generations.
Help is only needed occasionally – less than one hour per month at present - and centres around specific liturgical or Biblical knowledge to ensure that the charity’s communications and publications are accurate and informative.
The advisor may be able to offer their support pro bono; the charity will endeavour to fund the occasional work where payment is necessary.
It is hoped that the advisor will be fully inclusive of all people irrespective of their gender, heritage or other identifying characteristics.
Voluntary support may be provided to the charity very informally – via occasional emails/text messages/social media messaging, or in person. The charity will provide appropriate policies and other paperwork as required for a voluntary role.
Paid work would be offered to self-employed contractors following the usual formal processes.
Translators – volunteers or occasional self-employed contractors
The charity researches and publishes the music and biographies of composers and writers of many nationalities.
We also work with musicologists and music archives all around the world.
We are currently seeking volunteers or paid contractors with specialist translating skills in French, Italian and German to support our communications with composers, writers, music archives and Supporters, and to create effective metered translations of texts to enable our publications to be sung equally in English or in other languages.
Voluntary support may be provided to the charity very informally – via occasional emails/text messages/social media messaging, or in person. The charity will provide appropriate policies and other paperwork as required for a voluntary role.

Transcribers - volunteers
We will soon needs help transcribing hand written letters to and from Elizabeth Poston. This will form an important part of our Poston Project.
